The interior of this home is based on three colours; white, black, and natural wood. It is a high-contrast, minimalist interior with a graphic design flair.
This quirky house is situated in a stylish neighbourhood of row houses in Den Haag. Each of the three floors is quite small, allowing each one to be assigned a separate function. On the ground floor, which has access to a small garden, there is a day room with living area, dining area, and kitchen. One level above there is a night area, with master bedroom, wardrobe, and bathroom. Also on this floor is a guest room and small WC. The loft is the kingdom of the children – they have two bedrooms here with dormers from which there is a view of the surroundings, and a separate bathroom.
The living room shares its space with the dining room and kitchen. The construction of the furniture forms blocks which separate different functional areas in matching fashion.
The bedroom is separated from the wardrobe by a half-wall outfitted with a built-in eco-fireplace.
A large, soft armchair adds and interesting accent and breaks up the simplicity of the interior.
The children's rooms feature a splash of colour - the carpets are a saturated blue, enlivening the interior and providing a fantastic place for the little ones to play.
