This row house in Zdunska Wola (50 km from Łódź) is the perfect place for a 2+2 family. A very young and adorable couple with two daughters. The interior is designed to be light, spacious, made with natural materials.

The desired combination of a contemporary style with a light Scandinavian note was achieved by matching very light-coloured concrete with the natural tones of wood in the oak floors and furniture. The light grey-beige upholstery and lamp above the table complete the picture. The only dark elements are the glazed windbreak and stairwell. The ground floor is an open space which flows freely from the kitchen through the dining room to the living room. The layout of the living room makes it possible to observe the garden while simultaneously watching TV. A fireplace is set off to the side, adding warmth to the interior. An element of black appears in the matte mosaic on the wall of the small bathroom.

The bedroom, bathroom, and wardrobe on the first floor are joined into a single unit, separated only by panes of darkened glass. Behind the glass wall, literally next to the bed, is a bathtub, and behind this the second of the fireplaces in the house. For those moments when intimacy is needed, beyond the wall in a further section of the bathroom there is a concealed shower and fully enclosed toilet.

The girls' rooms are delicate and warm. A muted pastel colour scheme, and a much-desired hanging hammock armchair, with few open cupboards thus minimising the "messy effect" were the guidelines laid out by the lady of the house.
