This apartment in Lodz is situated in an area with extensive green spaces was designed to be an oasis of peace in the centre of the city. It is meant for a couple who value privacy and contact with nature.
The interior is very light, with a soft colour scheme. The heart of the home is the living room, which smoothly joins the dining room and a small kitchen. The owners are not very enthusiastic cooks, and so the kitchen countertop has been concealed behind doors in a tall built-in structure, so that the kitchen visually blends with the living space in the apartment.
The bedroom is separated by a partial partition wall. A broad passage from the living room to the bedroom joins these spaces, making them optically larger. Thanks to sliding glass doors, these two spaces can, however, be completely divided, creating greater privacy.
The small bathroom is similar in colour to the rest of the apartment. This was achieved by combining whites, greys, light woods, and glass in sepia tones.
